What happens when you’re asked “how does your body feel?” Does your brain quickly go to old pain, new pain or just avoid the question all together with “I’m fine?” Our bodies use pain as a little signal that there is something deeper going on and you can tell a lot about what is going on by assessing your posture. Take a look at a ballet dancer or an athlete in peak condition. Their body looks like building blocks perfectly stacked one on top of the other; perfectly supported from the foundation up. Your body has the same wisdom and ability to be fully functional without pain or the anxiety that comes from living with pain. In this 2 hour workshop we will get curious about what is really happening in the body and how you can use, what we like to call, movement medicine to get your body back into optimal posture. Bring a journal, water and a curious mind.
