Down Dog or Adho Mukha Svanasana, it's name in Sanskrit, is probably the most recognized yoga posture. Most people look at this staple pose as a painful “resting” pose but in fact when done with integrity and proper alignment has huge benefits. When holding for an extended period of time it can help alleviate fatigue and slow down your heart rate which is excellent for people with high blood pressure. Below are a few more perks of the pose.
Strengthen core muscles
